a little about..

Ben Russell

Born and raised in England, I graduated from The University of Derby in 2001 with a BA in Photography. For several years I enjoyed a diverse career as a press photographer, journeying across the UK to photograph people ‘in the news’ including politicians, athletes and everyday men and women who’d had interesting experiences and stories to tell.

Contrary to first impressions, PEI is more than just quaint and charming – it’s a collaborative community that fiercely supports its local businesses and welcomes new faces with curiosity and a helping hand. It’s a rarity in this individualistic age, and I’m proud to call this wonderful place my home. I now have a small daughter and am excited to show her the beauty that surrounds her here – both from behind a lens and otherwise.
